Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Thooval ("the App"), a macOS desktop application developed and sold by Akhil K Thomas ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
We offer a 7-day free trial period to evaluate the App. Upon purchasing a valid license key, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use Thooval on your own Mac devices. This license is for personal or commercial use by the individual purchaser only.
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App or your license key
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Share your license key with others
2. Ownership of Your Content
All content you create using Thooval including blog posts, text, and images remains entirely yours. We make no claim over your writing or files. The App stores all content locally on your device and we have no access to it.
3. GitHub Integration
Thooval uses your GitHub personal access token to publish content to a GitHub repository of your choice. Your token is stored locally on your device. We do not store, transmit, or have access to your GitHub credentials or repository content.
Use of GitHub and GitHub Pages is subject to GitHub's Terms of Service.
4. No Warranty
Thooval is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the App is at your own risk.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or content.
6. Updates
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates are provided at our discretion. Purchasing a license entitles you to all future updates to the App at no additional cost, for as long as the App is actively maintained.
7. Termination
Your license is valid indefinitely unless you breach these Terms. In the event of a breach, your license may be revoked without refund.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
